This accelerated workshop introduces the writing process and
enables beginning writers to gain confidence, experience, and
critical thinking skills. Students learn how to use prewriting,
writing, revision, and editing steps in the paragraph writing
process. Focus will be placed on getting, organizing, and
developing ideas, as well as sequence, transition, word choice, and
openings and closings in order to develop effective paragraphs.
For On-Site Workshops, there will also be online assignments that need to be completed
each week. We have partnered with Irvine Valley College Community Education since 2007, and you can view our upcoming schedule HERE.
For On-Line Workshops, the workshop course takes place online, via TeachMeHelpMe.org.
This Writing Proccess workshop series is ideal for English learners, reluctant and skills-lacking students, as well as students who are interested in developing writing skills and fluency in general.
